Located in between Stoke Newington and Manor House in the North London Borough of Hackney, Woodberry Down is one of the largest social housing redevelopment projects in the UK. Constructed between 1948 and the late 1960s, the 42 blocks covering 64 acres of land housed thousands for generations. Demolition began in 2009, shortly after permission for the project was granted.
