Walking around Woodberry Down in April 2021, I felt a heavy sensation of anxious anticipation. The insides of homes are exposed, structural cables pour out of brick work. Others are coddled in white tarpaulin. The site is framed by developer's boards covered in aspirational quotes such as "perfectly natural" and "community" reinforced by computer generated compositions helping us to imagine what life could be like if we were to invest.
